Axim
AXIM (Axim Architectural Hardware) is a UK-focused architectural door hardware brand best known for its transom closers / concealed overhead door closers, plus the broader “commercial aluminium door” hardware ecosystem that goes with them. The brand was originally formed in 1987 and is built around supplying a comprehensive, in-stock range through a pan-European distributor network.
AXIM’s range is basically “everything you’d spec around a commercial entrance door”:
-
Concealed transom closers (their signature category: TC series like TC8800, TC9600, TC9900)
-
Surface mounted overhead closers (FC series)
-
Floor springs (FS series)
-
Plus the rest of the door-hardware toolbox: panic exit devices, electric strikes, deadlatches, flush bolts, letter plates, locks, handles
This is why AXIM shows up a lot in aluminium door setups: it’s designed to be a reliable, spec-friendly “one brand covers most of the door” option rather than a single hero product.
