Terms of Service

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.

Payment can be made securely via PayPal, debit or credit card. Orders will only be dispatched once payment is received in full.

Custom-made items such as keyed-alike locks or keys cut to code are produced specifically for your order. As such, they are non-refundable unless faulty. Please ensure your details are correct before placing an order for these products.

While we take great care to ensure the accuracy of all product information, LockandKey.co.uk cannot be held responsible for damages, losses, or costs incurred from improper use, installation, or handling of products.

Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the total value of the goods purchased. These terms do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

We value your privacy and protect your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. Details of how we collect and use personal data are available in our Privacy Policy.

Restricted master key orders

By ordering a restricted master key product, you give LockandKey.co.uk permission to share the relevant order details with the owner of that master key system and their authorised system managers. These details may include your name and contact details, delivery recipient and address, delivery notes, and the restricted keys ordered for that system.

This information is shared solely to authenticate your request, confirm your permission to order, and protect the security of the master key system. Information shared for these checks must not be used for marketing or any other purpose. Details of unrelated products in your order are not shared with the system owner or their authorised managers.

If you make a purchase under these terms and subsequently publish a review of that purchase or your experience with us on Trustpilot, Google, or another public review platform, you grant LockandKey.co.uk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to copy and display the review text and any rating you provided on our website, including as a customer testimonial. This permission applies only to content you own or are authorised to license. You retain ownership of your review and remain free to use it elsewhere.

We may display your review in full or use a clearly identified excerpt. We may adjust formatting or remove personal information, but will not change its meaning or misrepresent your experience. Where we attribute a review, we will use only the public reviewer name or username you chose, and may identify and link to the original source. We will not publish private order or contact details under this permission.

You do not have to leave a review, and this permission applies equally to positive and negative reviews. It does not restrict your right to criticise us or affect your customer rights. You can withdraw this permission or ask us to update or remove a review we display by contacting us. We will stop displaying it under this licence within 14 days of receiving enough information to identify it.

This clause applies only where it formed part of the terms agreed when you purchased. It does not retrospectively grant permission for reviews relating to earlier purchases. It covers your own review content only, not any review platform’s logos, branding, widgets, or other rights, and does not override restrictions on accessing a platform’s services or data. Personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.
