The Master Locksmiths Association is a locksmith trade body with a public Find a Locksmith directory. Lock & Key’s listing gives customers a direct way to verify that they are dealing with an established locksmith business rather than relying only on claims made on our own website.
Locksmith accountability
For urgent entry, lock replacement, key-control work, and site security advice, customers need a business they can identify and contact again after the job.
External verification
The MLA listing is useful because it sits outside Lock & Key’s own site. Customers can check it before booking, purchasing, or asking for advice.
Clearer advice boundaries
MLA membership supports our locksmith credentials. It does not replace product certification checks such as BSI, TS007, Sold Secure, or manufacturer-specific authorisation.
How this helps a customer

Check the business listing, then provide photos, location, urgency, and door or lock details so the first advice is accurate.
During specification
Use MLA-backed locksmith advice alongside product evidence, not instead of it. Certified products still need correct sizing and fitting.
