Tessi Locks: Bullet & Shutter Locks

This collection features two primary locking styles to suit your security setup:

  • Central Shutter Locks: Including the standard Tessi 6410, alongside the 6430 Narrow and 6440 Ultra-Narrow models. Installed in the centre of the door, these locks feature dual extending side arms that link to your shutter's locking bars to secure the door into both sides of the frame.
  • Bullet Locks: Featuring the Tessi 6460 Oval and TCP6461 Round Cylinder bullet locks. These are designed for popular roller shutter styles, utilising a heavy-duty pin inserted into a welded frame housing to physically block the door from being opened.

TESSI is a trade security brand best known as a supplier of roller shutter locks—the practical, site-proven stuff used on roller shutters, gates, and similar metal closures where you want a straightforward mechanical lock that’s easy to fit, easy to replace, and hard to “accidentally” defeat with a big screwdriver and confidence.

Aldridge describes TESSI as having products used in the industry for over 20 years, with a range of shutter locks to suit multiple applications. 

What TESSI is known for (the stuff you actually see on shelves)

  • Centre shutter locks (e.g., the 6410 pattern), typically a compact lock body that throws locking arms/bolts across the shutter/gate. 

  • Bullet shutter locks in common formats like oval and round-faced models (e.g., 6460/6461), designed so the “bullet” tail engages into the shutter/door to prevent opening. 

  • Genuine key blanks for the matching lock families (6410/6430/6460/6461 and cruciform variants like 6440).
