Secure your commercial premises, garage, or industrial unit with our range of Tessi Locks, a trade-trusted brand renowned for robust, site-proven physical security. Designed specifically for roller shutters, gates, and metal closures, Tessi offers straightforward, highly reliable mechanical locking solutions that are easy to install and replace.
This collection features two primary types of shutter security:
- Central Shutter Locks: Installed in the centre of the door, models like the standard 6410, the 6430 Narrow, and the 6440 Ultra Narrow extend side arms into the shutter's locking bars to secure both sides of the frame.
- Bullet Locks: The 6460 Oval and TCP6461 Round Cylinder bullet locks provide heavy-duty side security. Typically used with welded housings on the outer frame, the lock pin inserts directly into the shutter door to prevent it from being raised.
Whether you need to replace an existing lock or upgrade your physical security, the Tessi range provides dependable, no-nonsense protection for your property.

Tessi
TESSI is a trade security brand best known as a supplier of roller shutter locks—the practical, site-proven stuff used on roller shutters, gates, and similar metal closures where you want a straightforward mechanical lock that’s easy to fit, easy to replace, and hard to “accidentally” defeat with a big screwdriver and confidence.
Aldridge describes TESSI as having products used in the industry for over 20 years, with a range of shutter locks to suit multiple applications.
What TESSI is known for (the stuff you actually see on shelves)
-
Centre shutter locks (e.g., the 6410 pattern), typically a compact lock body that throws locking arms/bolts across the shutter/gate.
-
Bullet shutter locks in common formats like oval and round-faced models (e.g., 6460/6461), designed so the “bullet” tail engages into the shutter/door to prevent opening.
-
Genuine key blanks for the matching lock families (6410/6430/6460/6461 and cruciform variants like 6440).
