  • Side-Operating Shutter Locks (CISA 41110 & 41420): Designed to operate to either the left or the right depending on your setup, offering flexible installation options.
  • Central Shutter Locks (CISA 41320): A heavy-duty central locking solution that extends locking bolts to both sides of the shutter for maximum resistance against forced entry.

Engineered for reliability, these locks feature a secure double-throw facility (providing up to 13mm per throw on select models) to ensure a deep, solid engagement. Each unit is key-operated and comes supplied with two keys for external operation and one key for internal use, ensuring convenient access control from both sides of your shutter.

Cisa

CISA (Costruzioni Italiane Serrature e Affini) is an iconic Italian lock and access-control brand, founded in 1926 by Luigi Bucci. It built its reputation early by patenting the first electrically controlled lock the same year it was founded—basically kicking the door open (politely, with a latch) on modern electromechanical access control. 

Today CISA positions itself as “CISA Italy,” with design and engineering made in Italy, and a product ecosystem that spans both mechanical and electronic security for residential, public, and commercial buildings. 

Ownership / group: CISA is a strategic brand of Allegion and has been part of the Allegion group since 2013 (around the time Allegion became a standalone listed company). 

What they’re known for (in the real world, on real doors):

  • Mechanical locks and cylinders, including solutions for master keying systems (CISA talks a lot about cylinders/keys and master-key systems production). 

  • Electric / electromechanical locks (heritage category for them), including locks designed to pair with panic hardware or remote electric opening in access-control setups. 

  • Exit / panic devices (their ranges are explicitly positioned around installability and reliability, and they’re tracking new EU regulatory changes in their comms).
