VBH

VBH is one of Europe’s heavyweight suppliers of window and door hardware, specialising in the parts that make fenestration actually behave in the real world: multipoint locks, hinges, handles, cylinders, seals, fixings, and ancillaries for uPVC, aluminium, timber and composite systems. In trade terms, VBH is the “if it moves, seals, locks or aligns, we probably stock it” kind of distributor. 

The wider VBH Group has long been described as Europe’s largest trading house for window and door fittings (a 2011 VBH Holding AG press release cites group sales of ~€800m in 2010, which gives you a sense of the scale they were already operating at back then). 

In the UK & Ireland, VBH (GB) Ltd has supplied hardware to fabricators and installers since 1982, with its head office in Gillingham, Kent (and additional UK locations such as East Kilbride). 

A big part of VBH’s identity is its own in-house brand, greenteQ, launched in 2009. greenteQ has expanded into a broad catalogue of hardware and ancillaries and is widely pushed alongside VBH’s distribution of major third-party hardware lines.
