YALE PBS3 & PBS4 Auto Deadlocking Nightlatch

The Yale PBS3 and PBS4 Auto Deadlocking Nightlatches are British Standard high-security rim locks designed to offer maximum protection against forced entry while ensuring a quick and easy exit in an emergency.

Ideally suited for solid doors on emergency escape routes, such as flats or communal properties, the internal handle cannot be locked from the inside. This ensures compliance with BS 8621 standards for easy egress in the event of a fire.

For robust physical security, the latch automatically deadlocks when the door is closed, preventing the bolt from being bypassed or 'carded'. The lock is supplied with an anti-pick, anti-drill, and anti-bump 6-pin cylinder, as well as an anti-saw bolt. A convenient snib feature allows you to hold back the latch or deadlock it as required.

These nightlatches are available in multiple backset sizes (40mm and 60mm) and a choice of finishes, including Brasslux and Chrome Plated. Please select your preferred backset, finish, and case finish from the options below.
