The Yale 99Z Non-Deadlocking Nightlatch is a traditional-style rim lock designed for timber doors. Featuring a classic black finish case paired with a polished brass cylinder, it provides a timeless look suitable for residential properties.
This nightlatch is highly versatile, featuring an easily reversible latchbolt that makes it suitable for both left and right-handed inward-opening doors. For outward-opening doors, reverse strikes are available separately. The internal snib function offers added convenience, allowing you to either hold the latch back in the open position or deadlock the latchbolt from the inside.
Supplied complete with a standard Yale 5-pin rim cylinder, this nightlatch is suitable for timber doors between 32mm and 57mm thick. It is a reliable, easy-to-install choice for standard rim lock applications.
