YALE 91 Non-Deadlocking Nightlatch

The Yale 91 Non-Deadlocking Nightlatch is a modern, reliable rim lock designed specifically for applications where deadlocking is not required or could pose a safety risk, such as on hotel doors, communal areas, or internal doors. It features a 60mm backset and a fully reversible latchbolt, making it incredibly versatile and easy to install on-site for both left and right-handed doors.

A key safety feature of the Yale 91 is that it cannot be deadlocked from the inside. This ensures that entry can always be gained from the outside using the key, preventing accidental lockouts and ensuring emergency access is never compromised. The internal lever handle easily withdraws the latchbolt from the inside, while the snib button allows the latch to be held back in the open position when required.
