The Yale 723 Traditional Deadlocking Nightlatch is a compact, narrow-stile security solution designed for doors where space is limited. Featuring a 40mm backset, this classic rim lock is ideal for timber doors and provides reliable, everyday security.
Operation is straightforward: the latchbolt is withdrawn by the lever handle from the inside and by the key from the outside. For added security, the latchbolt can be deadlocked from the outside with a full turn of the key, or deadlocked internally using the integrated snib button. The snib also allows the latch to be held back in the open position, preventing accidental lockouts.
This nightlatch is highly versatile, featuring an easily reversible latchbolt to suit both left and right-handed doors. It is supplied with a classic Yale 1109 5-pin rim cylinder in a polished brass finish, a robust green-finished case, and two keys.
