YALE 401 2 Lever Double Handed Rimlock
The Yale 401 2 Lever Double Handed Rimlock is a traditional surface-mounted rim sashlock designed for standard internal and low-security external applications. It is ideal for use on internal doors, garden gates, sheds, and outbuildings where a mortice lock installation is not practical.
This versatile lock features a non-handed, reversible design with a two-way keyhole, allowing it to be mounted either way up without the need for complex re-handing. The latchbolt is operated by rim knob furniture from either side, while the 2-lever deadbolt is thrown and withdrawn by the key from both the inside and outside.
Supplied in a classic grey finish, the lock comes complete with a matching staple and two keys. It is designed to be fitted directly to the surface of the door, making it a popular choice for both traditional and rustic properties.
