UNION L2341 Oval Nightlatch Case

The UNION L2341 Oval Nightlatch Case is a robust, high-quality mortice nightlatch designed for use with an oval profile cylinder (supplied separately). It is ideal for timber doors requiring automatic deadlocking, ensuring the door is secured as soon as it is closed. The latchbolt is automatically locked against end pressure by an anti-thrust bolt for enhanced security.

This lock is operated by an oval cylinder from the outside and a sprung lever handle or turn from the inside. For added convenience, the latchbolt is easily reversible without opening the lock case, using a special key. It also features a hold-open function, allowing the latch to be held in the withdrawn position using the key provided.

This nightlatch case is EN 1634-1 assessed for use on 60-minute timber fire doors and comes with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee. It is available in multiple finishes, including Polished Lacquered Brass and Satin Chrome, with matching forends and unique barcodes.
