UNION L2214 Oval Sashcase

The UNION L2214 Oval Sashcase is a robust, narrow-profile mortice lock case specifically designed for use on metal doors, such as aluminium shopfronts and steel composite doors. With its compact 30.5mm backset and 50mm case depth, it is the ideal choice for narrow-stile door profiles where installation space is limited.

This sashcase is designed to be operated by an oval profile cylinder (sold separately) and is fully compatible with unsprung lever handles. It features a reversible latchbolt, making it suitable for both left and right-hand hung doors.

The lock operates with a secure and intuitive mechanism: one full turn of the key locks the deadbolt, while one full turn of the key followed by depressing the lever handle unlocks it. For added convenience, the latchbolt can also be withdrawn directly using the key.
