The Paxton 409-711 Switch2 / Net2 Cardlock Reader is a robust, slimline cardswipe reader designed for use with Paxton's Switch2 and Net2 access control systems. Featuring a durable metal construction with an elegant satin chrome finish, this reader is built to withstand demanding environments. With an IPX7 rating, it is fully weather-resistant and highly suitable for both internal and external installations.

Installation is straightforward and highly accurate, thanks to a central cable exit at the back of the reader and a surface-mounting design. The reader comes pre-wired with a 5-metre cable, allowing for a maximum distance of up to 100 metres from the controller. It provides clear visual and audible feedback to users upon swiping, ensuring a seamless access experience.

Please note: This reader is suitable as an addition or replacement within an existing standalone system. It is not possible to build a new standalone system with this reader as Cardlock Starter packs are no longer available.
