LOCKEY GC200 Pedestrian Gate Closer

The Lockey GC series automatic pedestrian gate closers are designed for both domestic and commercial use on left or right-handed metal or timber gates. Hydraulically controlled, these closers provide a smooth, soft-closing action that ensures quiet operation and prevents damage caused by slamming.

Featuring a robust, PVC-coated steel construction, the closer's force can be adjusted during installation by mounting the brackets further away from the gate post. The closing speed is pre-tensioned and pre-set, removing any risk of tampering or maladjustment after fitting. The dual bracket design allows for easy adjustment on both in-line and offset hinge configurations, and the closer can be integrated with most security or hold-open devices.

Important Installation Note: To maintain the manufacturer's warranty, gate stops must be fitted. A primary stop (often the lock itself) must restrict the gate from swinging past the post line when closing, and a second gate stop must be installed to limit the opening angle to a maximum of 90 degrees.
