The Kickstop 9630 16mm London Door Bar is a highly effective, heavy-duty security solution designed to reinforce wooden door frames against forced entry. Wooden frames are notoriously vulnerable to splitting and splintering during a "kick-in" attack. This solid steel bar is designed to fit over the staple (keep) of an existing surface-mounted rim lock or cylinder nightlatch, significantly strengthening the lock side of the frame.

Manufactured from a single continuous length of 5mm thick, superior-grade steel, the London Bar features a prominent 'D' shaped staple designed to accommodate extra-large keeps measuring up to 40mm x 105mm. It is finished with rounded edges for a neat appearance and features countersunk fixing holes, allowing the supplied 2.5-inch hardened steel woodscrews to sit completely flush.

Easy to install on the internal face of the door frame, this 1.98m (78") bar provides robust, visible, and physical protection. Depending on the height of your existing lock, the bar can be easily cut to length with a hacksaw during installation to ensure a perfect fit.
