The KICKSTOP 9616 20mm London Door Bar is a highly effective, heavy-duty door frame reinforcing bar designed to protect wooden door frames from forced entry. When a door is kicked or forced, traditional wooden frames often split around the lock staple (keep). This solid steel bar is screwed directly onto the internal face of the frame on the lock side, providing robust resistance against kicking, splitting, and forcing.

Featuring a standard 'D' shaped staple, this London Bar is designed to fit over the staple of a surface-mounted rim lock or cylinder nightlatch. It is suitable for standard staple sizes measuring 30mm x 70mm or less. The bar is manufactured from a single, continuous piece of 5mm thick solid steel with rounded edges and countersunk holes, ensuring a neat, flush-fitting finish.
