The Kickstop 9600 LockGuard is a high-quality door reinforcer designed to strengthen wooden doors around a traditional mortice lock, euro cylinder, or oval cylinder. Installing a mortice lock requires removing wood from the door, which can leave a weakened area susceptible to kick-in attacks and forced entry. The LockGuard reinforces this vulnerable area by bolting two plates together through the door, providing robust security and a clean, professional finish.

As the shortest model in Kickstop's LockGuard range, the 9600 is ideal for doors where space is limited or where locks are fitted close together, preventing the use of longer guards like the 9601. It features two bolt-through security fixings with 150mm screw centres.
