The Kickstop 2609 London Door Bar is a highly effective security solution designed to reinforce wooden door frames against forced entry. Traditional wooden frames are prone to splitting and splintering when subjected to physical attacks. This solid steel reinforcing bar counters this vulnerability by strengthening the frame around the most common point of attack - the rim lock or nightlatch.

Featuring a large 'D' shaped staple, the 2609 model is designed to fit over and secure the staple (keep) of a surface-fitted rim lock or cylinder nightlatch measuring up to 30mm x 97mm. It is manufactured from a single continuous length of 5mm thick solid steel with rounded edges, ensuring there are no unsightly welds. The bar is pre-drilled with countersunk holes, allowing the included 2.5-inch No.10 hardened steel woodscrews to sit completely flush with the surface for a neat, unobtrusive finish.

Easy to install on the internal face of the frame, this 1.83m long bar provides robust resistance against kicking and forcing, giving you peace of mind that your entrance is secure.
