Ingersoll RA73 & SC73 Fire Escape Nightlatch

The Ingersoll RA73 & SC73 Fire Escape Nightlatch is a high-security, non-double-locking rim lock designed specifically for fire doors, emergency exits, and hotel bedrooms. Unlike standard nightlatches, this model does not feature an internal deadlocking facility, ensuring that the inside handle remains active at all times to allow for a swift, unobstructed escape in an emergency.

When the door is closed, the latch automatically deadlocks with a robust 14mm bolt throw, providing excellent security against physical attack and carding.

This nightlatch is available in multiple configurations to suit your needs. You can choose between the complete SC73 nightlatch package - which includes a high-security Ingersoll 10-lever cylinder, three keys, and all necessary fixings - or the RA73 / SC73 replacement case-only option if you are simply replacing an existing lock body.
