ICS Shear Magnet GS705 12/24VDC

The ICS GS705 Shear Magnet is a high-security, discreet electric locking solution designed for mortice installation, allowing it to be fully concealed within the door and frame. It is suitable for both horizontal mounting in the transom or vertical mounting in the frame jamb, making it highly versatile for various door types.

This shear lock operates on a dual 12/24V DC voltage and features a fail-unlocked (fail-safe) operation, ensuring the door automatically unlocks in the event of a power failure to maintain safety. It provides an impressive holding force of up to 2,700lbs (1,226kg) in shear and includes an adjustable locking time delay of between 1 and 6 seconds. Additionally, the built-in magnetic bond sensor monitor output allows for remote tracking of the door's locked or unlocked status.
