The ICS FR-SL500 Fire Rated Micro Shearlock is a high-security, compact electromagnetic locking solution designed for concealed mortice installation. Offering an exceptional holding force of up to 1,200kg in shear, this micro shearlock provides robust security while maintaining a clean, flush aesthetic on your doors.
Engineered for safety and compliance, the FR-SL500 is fire tested to BS EN 1634, making it suitable for both FD30 and FD60 timber door applications. Please note that to achieve and maintain this fire door suitability, the lock must be fitted with the included intumescent pack.
This versatile lock operates on a dual-voltage 12/24V DC input and features a fail-unlocked (fail-safe) operation, ensuring safe egress in the event of a power failure. It also includes an adjustable locking time delay ranging from 0.5 to 25 seconds and full lock status monitoring (N.O/N.C/COM) for seamless integration with access control systems.
