The Exidor 297 Push Pad Panic Latch is a reliable, surface-mounted rim latch designed for outward-opening emergency exit doors. It is ideal for use in workplaces, offices, and other non-public environments where users are familiar with the escape routes.

This non-handed, fully reversible unit is suitable for single doors as well as the active leaf of double rebated doors. It comes supplied with a standard timber door fixing pack and includes an adaptor to allow operation from the outside via a standard rim cylinder (available separately). Finished in a durable silver enamel, the Exidor 297 is Certifire approved and fully compliant with BS EN 179 standards for emergency exit devices.
