EXIDOR 296 Panic Latch

The Exidor 296 Panic Latch is a highly reliable and durable emergency exit solution designed for single doors and the first opening leaf of double doors (with rebated meeting stiles where a vertical bolt is fitted to the other leaf). This surface-mounted unit is operated by a simple downward push on the crossbar, allowing for immediate and effortless egress in panic situations.

As a non-handed (reversible) panic latch, it is suitable for both left and right-handed doors opening outwards. It comes supplied with timber door fixing screws as standard, and includes an adaptor to allow operation from the outside via a standard rim cylinder (sold separately).

Fully Certifire approved and compliant with BS EN 1125 standards, the Exidor 296 is ideal for public buildings and areas where safety is paramount. The crossbar can be easily cut to size on-site to suit doors up to 1220mm wide.
