The dormakaba Simplex L1031 (formerly Kaba) is a heavy-duty, fully mechanical digital lock designed to provide reliable keyless access control without the need for batteries or wiring. A key feature of the L1031 model is its integrated passage set mode. Activated via an internal thumbturn or key, this function allows free access without entering a code - perfect for periods of high-frequency use, such as deliveries or unloading.

The lock supports a single, easily managed access code of 1 to 5 digits, offering over 1,000 possible combinations. Code changes can be completed quickly by authorised personnel while the unit remains fitted to the door. To prevent damage from forced entry attempts, the lock incorporates a protective clutch mechanism.
