The dormakaba (formerly Kaba) Simplex LP1000 Series is a heavy-duty, fully mechanical digital lock designed for exterior access control. This front-only unit is specifically engineered to suit surface-mounted panic latch hardware, providing a secure, keyless entry solution while allowing free egress from the inside via a pad bar or crash bar (exit device not supplied).

Because it is fully mechanical, the LP1000 eliminates the hassle and ongoing maintenance costs of battery replacements. It features a single, easily programmable access code of 1 to 5 digits, offering over 1,000 possible combinations. Code changes can be performed quickly on the door without removing the unit. For added security, the lock is equipped with a protective clutch mechanism to prevent damage to the lever handle, and is highly weather-resistant for reliable outdoor performance.
