DORMAKABA 8530 Side Load Arm & Channel

The dormakaba 8530 side load arm and channel (formerly Dorma) is a high-quality accessory designed for use with the RTS85 transom concealed door closer. Engineered for durability and smooth operation on commercial doors, this arm assembly provides a reliable connection between the door and the transom closer spindle.

Side-load installation offers a straightforward fitting process. This is achieved by positioning the door in the closed position onto the floor pivot. The closer arm, which is fitted inside the upper door rail, is then connected directly to the closer spindle and firmly secured using a clamping piece.

This arm and channel set is specifically designed to suit top rails with a minimum channel depth of 15mm and a minimum channel width of 38mm. It is supplied as a complete bagged unit, ready for installation.
