The weather-resistant dormakaba Simplex 5000 Series (formerly Kaba) is a robust, fully mechanical digital lock solution designed for high-traffic internal and external doors. Because it is completely mechanical, it eliminates the hassle and ongoing maintenance of battery replacements or electrical wiring.

This model features a convenient thumb-turn activated passage set mode, allowing free access without entering a code. This is particularly useful for busy periods or situations where frequent entry is required, such as unloading vehicles. The lock is operated via a durable 5-pushbutton keypad and supports a single access code (1 to 5 digits) with over 1,000 possible combinations. For added security and peace of mind, it includes a key override function and is supplied with two keys.
