The Codelocks CL290 is a light-duty, mechanical back-to-back digital lock designed to provide secure, coded access from both sides of a door. Part of the popular CL200 series, this model features two keypad plates installed back-to-back, making it an ideal solution for restricting entry and exit on internal or external doors.
Security is enhanced by a spring-loaded tubular mortice latch that automatically locks when the door is closed. Additionally, the latch bolt is equipped with a deadlocking plunger feature to prevent unlawful shimming or manipulation of the latch. The unit is fully reversible (non-handed) and is suitable for wooden doors with a thickness between 35mm and 65mm.
For fire-rated installations, this digital lock must be fitted with an appropriate intumescent pack (sold separately). Additionally, "Clean by Codelocks" - an ISO-certified photocatalytic clear coating that reduces bacterial growth by up to 99.96% - is available as an optional finish via special order.
