BRITON 1413ELE Lever Operated Outside Access Device

The Briton 1413ELE is a robust, lever-operated outside access device (OAD) designed to provide secure, keyed entry from the outside of a building. It is fully compatible with Briton panic and emergency exit hardware, including the popular Briton 376 series.

Engineered with security in mind, this device features an anti-vandal clutch mechanism that allows the lever to rotate freely when locked, preventing intruders from forcing the lock. For added protection, a built-in shear pin is designed to break under extreme abuse, safeguarding the internal mechanism from damage. This pin can be easily replaced to restore normal operation.

The Briton 1413ELE is BS 8300 compliant, ensuring it meets accessibility guidelines for ease of use. It is supplied loose for easy on-site handing, making it completely reversible for left- or right-handed doors. It comes complete with a Euro profile cylinder and fixings suitable for both timber and metal doors.
