The Borg BL7009 is a heavy-duty mechanical digital lock designed to meet the demanding requirements of high-traffic commercial and public environments. This robust access control solution pairs a heavy-duty keypad with a 60x72mm mortice nightlatch, offering reliable security and convenient keyless entry.

Engineered for easy retrofitting, the BL7009 shares the same footprint as the popular Unican 1000 and 5000 series, as well as the Borg BL5000 series. This makes upgrading existing hardware straightforward and hassle-free. The unit is non-handed and easily reversible on-site, allowing it to fit both left and right-handed doors.

The BL7009 features Borg's innovative "on-the-door" Easicode system, allowing code changes to be completed in seconds without removing the lock from the door. For added security, the code change function and free passage mode are actuated from the inside handle unit to prevent unauthorised tampering. The lock also includes a clutched, free-turning handle to protect against forced entry attempts, and the mortice nightlatch features a Euro profile cylinder hole to accommodate a third-party key cylinder for key override functionality.

With stainless steel coding chamber components and a cycle-tested design, the BL7009 is built for longevity and is suitable for internal and external applications on timber, composite, and steel doors.
