The Borg BL5009 is a medium to heavy-duty mechanical digital lock designed for demanding environments where standard, lighter-duty locks may fail. Featuring a fully clutched round bar lever handle on both the external keypad and the inside unit, this robust lock is ideal for restricting access on timber, composite, aluminium, and steel doors.

A standout feature of the BL5009 is its optional free passage mode. When activated, this function bypasses the coding chamber, allowing users to open the door without entering a code - ideal for busy periods or when unrestricted access is needed. The unit is supplied complete with a 60x72mm mortice nightlatch (60mm backset) for secure, reliable latching.

To protect against vandalism and forced entry, the keypad handle is clutched, preventing damage to the internal mechanism if forced. The round bar handle design also makes this model suitable for DDA-compliant applications.

This lock is available in Satin Chrome (BL5009SC) and Satin Stainless Steel (BL5009SS) finishes. Please select your preferred finish from the options below.
