ASEC Mortice Release

The Asec A25 Mortice Electric Release (AS9547) is a low-duty electric strike designed to be fitted within a door frame. When used in conjunction with a latch, it allows the door to be unlocked remotely as part of an access control or intercom system.

Operating on a 12V DC input, this electric release features a fail-unlocked (fail-safe) configuration, meaning it will unlock in the event of a power failure to ensure safe egress. It is continuously rated and boasts a holding force of 295kg (650lbs).
