The Asec GL1200NTBR (AS9821) is a heavy-duty, face-fixing external magnetic lock designed specifically for demanding outdoor security applications, such as perimeter gates and external doors. Built from premium Grade 316 stainless steel, this robust electromagnetic lock is engineered to withstand the harshest environments. The magnet body features a protective epoxy compound coating, making it highly corrosion-resistant (ISO tested) and fully waterproof with an IP67 rating.

With a massive holding force of 545kg (1200lbs), it provides exceptional physical security. It operates on dual voltage (12V/24V DC) and functions as fail-unlocked (fail-safe), ensuring safe egress in the event of a power failure. This model is also fully monitored, allowing for real-time lock status integration with your access control system.

While designed for outward-opening applications as standard, inward-opening installations can be achieved using a compatible Z & L bracket (available separately).
