The Alpro EB1001 Solenoid Bolt is a high-security electric locking solution designed for remote access and exit control. Highly versatile, it is suitable for most timber and metal doors, including sliding or swing, and single or double-action operations. It can be mortice-mounted either vertically or horizontally within the door frame or the door itself.
Operating on a fail-safe (fail unlocked / power to lock) basis, the bolt retracts automatically upon power loss to ensure safe, free egress. It features built-in dual monitoring with a door position switch and a bolt position indicator, alongside a selectable auto-relock delay timer that can be set to 0, 3, 6, or 9 seconds.
Constructed with a robust 15mm diameter stainless steel bolt and a satin anodised aluminium finish, the EB1001 is built for long-term reliability. It comes complete with a plug-in LED bolt indicator as standard and is fully protected against transient voltages and reverse polarity.
