The Adams Rite Armlock 262 Series Mortice Magnet is a compact, high-performance electromagnetic lock designed for seamless integration into door frames. Offering a discreet, concealed installation, this direct-pull mini magnet is ideal for use on outward-opening aluminium, timber, and steel doors. It is suitable for both single-swinging and sliding door applications (please note it is not designed to be used as a shear lock).

With a robust holding force of at least 250kg (550lbs), the Armlock 262 provides reliable security for internal doors. It operates on a fail-unlocked (fail-safe) basis, ensuring doors automatically release in the event of a power failure to allow safe egress. The unit features built-in monitoring (with C/NO/NC contacts) to provide real-time door status feedback, alongside a security pin feature that helps prevent unauthorised removal of the magnet from the door frame fixing plate. It also includes an integrated voltage spike suppressor to protect your access control system.
