The Adams Rite 8360 01 630 ANSI Latch Strike is a high-quality ramp jaw strike designed to work in conjunction with Adams Rite 4720ANSI and 4920ANSI deadlatches. Suitable for both single and double doors, this strike is ideal for installation on hollow metal or wooden doors.
Engineered to reduce wear and tear on the lock mechanism, the ramp jaw design smoothly "leads out" the latchbolt during operation. When the door is closed, the latch automatically deadlocks for enhanced security. For emergency exit applications, using the 8360 strike alongside the 4720ANSI/4920ANSI deadlatch and a 4591 Push Paddle Handle ensures compliance with BS EN 179:2008 standards.
Finished in durable stainless steel, this flat profile strike offers both strength and a clean, modern aesthetic. Please note that the use of lever handles is not recommended when installing this strike on wooden doors.
