The ABUS 83WP/63 (Extreme Series) Weatherproof Steel Open Shackle Padlock is supplied as a body-only unit, without a cylinder. This allows locksmiths and security professionals to easily integrate the padlock into existing master key suites or custom-keyed systems by installing a compatible cylinder of their choice.
Engineered for extreme outdoor environments, this padlock features a solid hardened steel alloy body and shackle fully encased in a high-impact plastic jacket. It is designed with integrated drainage channels to channel moisture away, alongside a protective rubber keyway cover that shields the cylinder from dirt, dust, and water. The shackle is finished with ABUS's proprietary NANO PROTECT™ coating, providing exceptional corrosion resistance.
For robust physical security, the padlock utilizes a double ball-bearing locking mechanism, offering high resistance against pulling, twisting, and lever attacks.
