Avocet (The Avocet Hardware Group) is a UK door-and-window hardware brand best known for its ABS high-security cylinders, especially its anti-snap euro cylinders used heavily in uPVC, composite and timber door sets. They position themselves as a long-standing trade supplier of window and door hardware alongside the award-winning ABS cylinder range.
Where Avocet really made its name is anti-snap protection. Their ABS cylinders use patented mechanisms designed to “lock down” after a snapping attack—so even if the outside section is sacrificed, the door doesn’t open.
