One of the standout design features of the G17 is the inclusion of 'steady' bolts located at both the top and bottom of the lock case. These steady bolts prevent the gate from being lifted, ensuring the hookbolt cannot be forced open or released. The hookbolt itself can be conveniently locked or unlocked by key from either side of the gate, offering flexible access control.
