27% Of all Burglaries are snapped cylinders

While most uPVC and other double glazed doors have good construction and feature strong multi point locking systems - they have a weak point which is being exploited by burglars in the UK.
According to the BBC & data from the Police 27% of all burglaries involved the euro cylinder being snapped - in just 15 > 90 seconds in most cases.
Yale and Millenco have now produced locks that have anti snap features that are BS TS007 rated. This British Standard may well be a requirement from insurance companies in the near future in the same way they currently insist on 5 lever mortice deadlocks on traditional doors.
