Nightlatches: Non Deadlocking

Non-deadlocking nightlatches are an ideal security solution for communal entrances, multi-occupancy buildings, and internal doors where preventing accidental lockouts is essential. Unlike deadlocking versions, these rim locks cannot be locked solid from the outside with a key, ensuring safe passage and reliable access for residents. Most designs feature an internal holdback snib to temporarily keep the latch retracted, and they are available in standard 40mm and 60mm backsets to suit narrow or standard timber doors.
