The Kickstop 9615 Birmingham Door Bar is a highly effective, heavy-duty security solution designed to reinforce and strengthen wooden door frames. Traditional wooden frames are vulnerable to splitting and splintering during a forced "kick-in" attack. This solid steel bar significantly increases resistance to forced entry, making it highly recommended by crime prevention specialists.

Manufactured from 5mm thick, superior-grade solid steel, this 20mm wide bar features rounded edges and countersunk screw holes, ensuring the fixing screws sit completely flush with the surface for a neat, snag-free finish. It is primarily used to protect the hinge side of inward-opening doors, but can also be fitted to the lock side if no rim lock staple is present. For outward-opening doors, it can be mounted externally to resist chisel and jemmy attacks.
