The ERA 183 & 193 Double Locking Nightlatches are highly reliable rim locks designed to replace most standard front door locks. Ideally suited for both solid and glass-panelled wooden doors, these nightlatches feature an ergonomic internal locking handle that provides robust protection against forced entry.

For enhanced security, the main latch bolt automatically deadlocks when the door is closed, preventing the bolt from being slipped or bypassed with a credit card. Additionally, the inside handle can be securely deadlocked from the inside with an anti-clockwise turn of the key, offering extra peace of mind. A convenient snib feature allows the bolt to be held in the withdrawn position when temporary free passage is required.
