It features a robust Euro profile mortice sash lock with a double cylinder, three keys, and a split follower safety mechanism. This anti-panic safety feature allows the inside lever handle to retract both the deadbolt and the latchbolt simultaneously, preventing accidental lock-ins and ensuring a safe means of escape.

The outside lever handle retracts the latch once a correct code is entered, and the spring-loaded latchbolt locks automatically when the door is closed. For added security, the key can be used to control the deadbolt position (which denies access to code users when projected) or to retract the latchbolt for key-only entry.
