The interior components are constructed from rust-free materials, including a zinc-plated brass locking mechanism that resists chemical corrosion. The hardened steel shackle and solid lock body are encased in a tough, protective vinyl jacket, protecting sensitive surfaces from scratches and impact damage.

This padlock is equipped with a high-precision 5-pin tumbler mechanism and is supplied keyed alike (KA) on the 12022 key series.
