CODELOCKS CL255 Digital Lock With Optional Holdback

The Codelocks CL255 is a light-duty mechanical digital lock from the CL200 series, featuring a spring-loaded mortice latch with a dual backplate. Ideal for low-traffic environments such as offices, schools, and domestic properties, it provides reliable access control without the need for batteries or wiring.

The lock features a deadlocking plunger to prevent unlawful shimming of the latch. It also includes a slide button that can be used to hold open the latchbolt for free entry when required. This holdback function can be disabled during installation if continuous code-only access is preferred.

This versatile digital lock is available in multiple finishes, including Polished Brass and Stainless Steel, and can be ordered with or without fire testing. Fire-tested models are certified to BS EN 1634-1 and come complete with an optional fire holdback kit.
