ADAMS RITE 4720 ANSI Mortice Deadlatch Case
The Adams Rite 4720 ANSI Mortice Deadlatch Case is a highly reliable, narrow-stile locking solution designed for use on hollow metal or wooden doors. Providing flexible traffic control and robust security, this deadlatch is ideal for commercial, retail, and public buildings.
A key security benefit of the 4720 is its automatic deadlocking feature: when the door is closed, the auxiliary bolt automatically deadlocks the latchbolt to prevent tampering and shimming. The reversible latchbolt can be operated from either side using a standard screw-in cylinder, thumbturn, or a compatible paddle handle. It also features a convenient holdback facility, allowing the latch to be held retracted for free traffic flow when required.
Please note that all faceplates and strike plates must be ordered separately to suit your specific door frame. Additionally, the use of lever handles is not recommended for wooden doors.
