Operation:

  • Fail locked/secure: applying current to the strike causes the jaw to pivot back, allowing the latch to clear the strike and the door to be opened from the outside
  • Fail unlocked/safe: the jaw remains locked while a current is applied to it. When the current is broken, the jaw pivots back, allowing the latch to clear the strike and the door to be opened from the outside
  • Typically, the current is controlled by an entry phone system
  • ADCN203+S accepts either AC or DC Current

Notes:

  • Voltage:Available in 12V AC or 12V DC
  • Power failure mode:Available in either fail locked/secure or unlocked/safe
  • Suits latches with 12mm maximum throw (allow for the gap between door and frame)
  • Maximum holding force is 400kg/880lbs
  • Supplied with conversion plate to allow for fitting to mortice locks
  • Current drawn on ADCN203+S is: AC = 0.18 ampsDC = 0.36 amps
  • Current drawn 12V DC = 0.15 amps
  • Suitable for low usage applications
