Dorcas 12v Electric Rim Release with Mortice Conversion Plate

Dorcas electric releases designed to suit rim locks and supplied with a mortice conversion plate

Fail locked/secure: applying current to the strike causes the jaw to pivot back, allowing the latch to clear the strike and the door to be opened from the outside
Fail unlocked/safe: the jaw remains locked while a current is applied to it. When the current is broken, the jaw pivots back, allowing the latch to clear the strike and the door to be opened from the outside
Typically, the current is controlled by an entry phone system
ADCN203+S accepts either AC or DC Current

Voltage:Available in 12V AC or 12V DC
Power failure mode:Available in either fail locked/secure or unlocked/safe
Suits latches with 12mm maximum throw (allow for the gap between door and frame)
Maximum holding force is 400kg/880lbs
Supplied with conversion plate to allow for fitting to mortice locks
Current drawn on ADCN203+S is: AC = 0.18 ampsDC = 0.36 amps
Current drawn 12V DC = 0.15 amps
